Island Hvar is the longest island on the Adriatic Sea, and it is also famous as the warmest and sunniest place in Croatia. It has the largest number of sunny days in Croatia.
The most popular tourist places on island Hvar are: the town of Hvar, Stari Grad, Jelsa, Vrboska, Milna, Sucuraj, Zavala, Sveta Nedjelja, and Ivan Dolac.
The places that are not on the sea are: Brusje, Grablje, Selca kod Starog Grada, Dol, Rudina, Vrbanj, Svirče, Vrisnik, Pitve, Humac, Poljica, Zastražišće, Gdinj, Bogomolje and Selca kod Bogomolja.
All along the western part of the Hvar are 17 small islands called Pakleni otoci.
Pakleni Otoci are small islands with beautiful sandy and pebble beaches. They are full of pine forests. There are also lots of big rocks that plunge into the sea. These small islands are a heaven to fishing, but also the oases to have peaceful rest from everyday life and crowd.
The climate on the whole island of Hvar is mild Mediterranean.

During the peak season, the town of Hvar is most attracted to the tourists, especially the young ones, because of the all night discos and parties, beautiful beaches, port that is full of large luxury yachts, and places to have fun and rest at the same time.
