Charming Croatian House Mirca

This authentic but redecorated stone house with pool on island Brac dates from the 19th Century. Its renovation was done in collaboration with the conservation office to preserve Dalmatian architectural tradition and original charm but to achieve comfort standards of the modern people at the same time.

This island Brac villa has somewhat more than 130 square meters of living area and swimming pool and area around the pool, garden, covered terrace, and covered parking space.

Inside, villa consists of 3 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room, 3 bathrooms and toilet all arranged on 2 floors.

Villa accommodates up to 8 persons.

Ground floor:
Space on ground floor which used to be tavern (in Croatian dictionary konoba that all old houses have had) was renovated into a charming living room with fireplace (wood burning), sofa that may be an extra bed for two persons, LCD SAT TV, DVD player, and Hi-Fi system. There are also dining area with table and chairs, as well as fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, microwave oven, refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker, dishwasher, dishes and all cooking and eating utensils needed. Near are one bathroom with shower and one separated toilet.
On ground floor there is master bedroom with double bed, LCD SAT TV, and large en-suite bathroom with shower. Master bedroom has exit to the small romantic back garden equipped with sitting garniture.

First floor:
First floor consists of one double bedroom and one bedroom with two separated / twin beds. Both bedrooms have LCD SAT TV. There is also one bathroom with shower on this floor. First floor is connected with the ground floor by inner wooden stairs from the ground floor living room, but it also has entrance from outside. The small space in front of the first floor / outside / on the top of outside stairs is called sular. Sular is term that is used for the small platform on the top of the outdoor stairs that was the main entrance in the living area before renovation. The view from sular reaches the sea and opposite side coast of the Brac Channel.

Outside:
Front yard of this charming stone house consists of swimming pool equipped with hydro massage bench and garden with ancient olive tree. Wooden sunbathing spot with sun beds is just near the pool.
A particularly attractive place is the outside dining area with a grill.
Under the pool area, on the street level, is a covered and fenced parking space.

*MINI-BAR: The mini-bar of villa offers the choice of Croatian red and white wine sorts, a few beers and 2-3 French champagne. Beverages are charged per week. Price list and mini-bar are always being updated. According to the guests' preferences the beverage selection may be changed.

- Near villa Mirca there are biking and hiking trails.
- All along the sea shore, through pine forests, ancient paths goes to nearby places; Supetar and Sutivan, which are the most popular promenades these days.
- In the old part of village Mirca, in the immediate vicinity to the villa, are hiking trails called Olive trail that leads through ancient olive groves and karst landscapes, and on the way you may visit the Olive Growing Museum located in local Olive Oil Mill.
